IMPORTANT ACCOUNCEMENT: The Absence Memo Office will NOT be used during the 2020-2021 academic year. 

The Absence Memo Office/process will NOT be used during the 2020 – 2021 academic year.  Instead, students will be responsible for reporting directly to their instructors the reasons for all absences including but not limited to not limited to personal illness, COVID-related illness, a requirement that they isolate or quarantine, or the need to care for a family member who is ill due to COVID.  

Students who utilized the services of the Absence Memo Office prior to the 2020 – 2021 academic year and would like to obtain a copy of documentation they submitted to the Absence Memo Office may send their request by email at  Responses to requested information will be processed in approximately five business days and sent directly to the student’s CofC Gmail.
